Professional Development Fund

Unit 2 members can apply to the Professional Development Fund administered by the Union.

This fund is intended to assist with employment related expenses falling into the following four catagories:

Conference Presentations/Participation
Research
Training
Teaching Materials/Resources

The amount Sessonal Faculty are eligible for is accrued in amounts of $200 per 3 unit course (not per section), to a maximum of $1200 per 12 month period. Sessional Music Faculty eligibility accrues at a rate of $75 per course “code” taught. *Subject to the availability of funds*

To apply, fill out the form below, and attach original receipts. Applications are approved by the Benefits Committee and are due on the last day of classes each term. For 2010-2011 these dates are as follows:
